I was deployed when my wife and started looking for a condo in Angel Fire. Bill Bishop was more than accommodating to our schedule and was very patient in sending us new information about the area even though we had never met him. When Donna and I finally made the trek out to Angel Fire from Florida, he was just as nice and easy going in person as he was on the phone or email. We did not buy that trip and I remember Bill saying, “Donna and Jason, you take your time and do what is right for you. I have been working with a client now for 2 years and he still hasn’t made a decision. I enjoy making friends and helping them find the right place. I will be here when you decide to buy and happy to help you with it at that point. For now, let’s just look at some condos.” He really put us at ease and made the buying process fun. During all of this, he was also very candid and honest, which is very important to me, and told us all about the idiosyncrasies of each condominium. He not only knew which amenities came with each unit (for example, some units had washers and dryers included while other units had common area laundry facilities), but he also knew what the HOA dues covered in each and why some were better deals than others. When it came time to put an offer in several months later, Bill not only lead us through the entire process, but negotiated the best deal for us.
We are currently looking to upgrade and get a larger condo and we had to make a very important decision. Who should sell it for us? For Donna and I, it was a no-brainer. I know Bill will not only find a great buyer for us, but also find the right people to buy our existing place and they will enjoy it as much as we have.
